Official Rules: Enduring Planet Earth Month CFO Prize Challenge
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
1. Eligibility
The Enduring Planet Earth Month CFO Prize Challenge (the “Challenge”) is open only to business entities (e.g., Corporations, LLCs) that:
- Are legally incorporated and based in the United States.
- Operate primarily within the climate tech, renewable energy, or environmental sustainability sectors.
- Have at least one founder/representative who is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees of Enduring Planet, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible.
2. Sponsor
The Challenge is sponsored by Enduring Planet Inc, located at 700 Pennsylvania Ave SE Suite 200 Washington, DC 20003.
3. Challenge Period
The Challenge begins on April 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM PT and ends on April 21, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT (the “Challenge Period”). All entries must be received within this window to be considered.
4. How to Enter
To enter, visit enduringplanet.com/cfo/earth-month and complete the application form. You must provide:
- Company details
- Summary of climate impact
- A brief statement on how Fractional CFO services would accelerate your impact.
- A compelling reason why you should be awarded this prize
Limit one (1) entry per company.
5. Selection of Winner (Skill-Based Judging)
This is a contest of skill. Winners will not be selected by random draw. All eligible entries will be judged by a panel of financial and climate experts appointed by the Sponsor based on the following weighted criteria:
- Climate Impact Potential (35%): The measurable or projected environmental benefit of the company's solution.
- CFO Services Impact (35%): How much will dedicated CFO services accelerate your business?
- The Pitch (30%): One compelling reason our team should pick your startup over anyone else.
6. Prize and Approximate Retail Value (ARV)
One (1) winner will receive:
- Six (6) months of Fractional CFO Services provided by Enduring Planet.
- Services include but are not limited to accounting, bookkeeping, financial modeling, and fundraising advisory.
Total ARV: up to $25,000. The prize is non-transferable and no cash substitution is permitted. As the ARV exceeds the 2026 IRS threshold of $2,000, the winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099-MISC.
7. Minimum Participation Threshold
The Sponsor's obligation to award the Prize is contingent upon the receipt of at least twenty-five (25) unique, eligible, and qualified entries by the end of the Challenge Period.
Cancellation Right: In the event that fewer than 25 eligible entries are received, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to (a) cancel the Challenge and not award the Prize, or (b) extend the Challenge Period until the minimum threshold is met.
Notification: If the Challenge is cancelled due to a lack of participation, the Sponsor will post a notice on the Challenge website and notify all existing applicants via the email provided in their application within seven (7) days of the original closing date.
8. Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
Ownership: Participants retain ownership of all intellectual property submitted.
License: By entering, you grant Sponsor a limited, non-exclusive license to use your company name and logo for promotional purposes related to the Challenge.
Confidentiality: Sponsor agrees to keep all specific financial data submitted during the application process confidential and will use it solely for judging purposes.
9. Winner Notification
The winner will be notified via email on or about April 22nd, 2026. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to sign the Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within five (5) days, an alternate winner may be selected.
10. Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Enduring Planet and its respective officers, directors, and employees from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the Challenge or the prize won.
11. Privacy
Any personal information collected will be subject to the Sponsor's Privacy Policy found at enduringplanet.com/privacy.
