Tangram Vision partners with Enduring Planet to accelerate Climate-aligned autonomy

Tangram Vision is one of the few companies in the world focused exclusively on perception calibration, ensuring that sensors like cameras, lidar, and IMUs accurately capture data and work together as a system. Perception calibration is essential for core autonomy tasks such as navigation, mapping, tracking, object detection, user safety, and deep learning. Tangram’s software makes autonomous systems reliable by ensuring what they see can be trusted.

Many of their largest customers operate with explicit climate mandates, using robotics and automation to disrupt greenhouse-emitting industries. By enabling faster, more reliable deployment of autonomous systems, Tangram Vision helps these customers scale more rapidly while differentiating themselves in competitive markets. When Tangram was awarded a Phase II NASA grant, the team saw an opportunity to significantly expand their impact but doing so required capital aligned with the pace and ambition of their work. The capital was used to accelerate the timeline laid out in the grant, including proposed hardware projects, on-site testing with partner companies, and faster deployments. With Enduring Planet’s support, Tangram Vision was able to move ahead of its original grant schedule, bringing trusted perception systems into real-world deployments sooner and strengthening its ability to deliver on ambitious technical promises across climate-critical industries.
