MyLand returns to Enduring Planet to expand soil health programs
MyLand is improving agricultural soil health through its Soil as a Service™ model. The company uses live, native microalgae delivered through existing farm irrigation systems to improve water retention, reduce salt buildup, and support healthier soils.
Since first working with Enduring Planet, MyLand has expanded to 51,000 acres in service across Arizona, California, Texas, and Washington, serving 105 growers across more than 30 crop types. The company has also expanded its research partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Research to 22,000 acres and launched a Washington soil health program supported by the state's Climate Commitment Act.
As the business grew, MyLand needed additional working capital to support its expanding grower contracts and government-funded programs. The company was paying for system deployments, field operations, and lab work upfront while waiting for contract payments and program reimbursements.
MyLand returned to Enduring Planet for financing that would help bridge the gap between deployment costs and incoming payments, while keeping its projects on schedule.
MyLand partnered with Enduring Planet again to:
- Fund system deployments on newly contracted acres
- Cover field operations and lab costs ahead of program reimbursements
- Continue expanding its soil health programs with non-dilutive capital
MyLand's previous experience with Enduring Planet was a key factor in its decision to return. Enduring Planet's familiarity with the company's business model, contracts, and agricultural timelines, along with its responsiveness and flexible approach, made it a natural fit for the next phase of growth.
The new capital will allow MyLand to continue deploying its systems and supporting field operations across its Texas and Washington programs. The financing also allowed MyLand to begin deployments approximately six months earlier than if it had waited for contract payments and reimbursements.
MyLand has continued to build commercial momentum alongside its expansion. In 2026, the company introduced a performance-backed crop warranty with Growers Edge for almond, pistachio, and apple growers and began a pilot in Alberta, Canada.
The company also secured additional funding, including a $23 million round led by Proterra Investment Partners in January 2025 and $2.4 million in program funding to expand its Texas A&M AgriLife collaboration. In July 2026, MyLand received a $50,000 F3 Innovate Innovation Grant.
Through its soil health programs, MyLand is working to improve water infiltration and retention, reduce salt buildup, and increase soil organic matter and carbon storage. Its expanding research and field operations will also help demonstrate improvements in soil health and crop yields.
With continued financing from Enduring Planet, MyLand can keep its deployments on track while expanding access to its soil health technology for growers across North America.
Enduring Planet already understood our business, our contracts, and the realities of agriculture, so we didn’t have to start from scratch. Their team was responsive and transparent the first time, and that made returning an easy decision.
