Celadyne teams up with Enduring Planet to scale climate-critical hydrogen solutions
Celadyne is unlocking the hydrogen economy with its multilayer proton exchange membranes that make fuel cells competitive with diesel engines and electrolytic hydrogen cost-competitive with natural gas–derived hydrogen. Their technology quintuples the durability and productivity of both fuel cells and electrolyzers, enabling hydrogen to compete in some of the hardest-to-abate sectors: heavy-duty trucking, rail, maritime, steel, and fertilizer production.
With traction from the US Army, US Air Force, GM, and National Grid, Celadyne needed flexible, founder-friendly capital to expand its work with the Department of Defense and deliver on a new contract for long-range UAS applications. That’s where we at Enduring Planet stepped in.
Celadyne partnered with Enduring Planet to:
- Secure non-dilutive financing without personal guarantees
- Access transparent, founder-aligned terms at a competitive cost of capital
- Leverage a streamlined process that matches the pace of climate innovation
- Invest in growth while avoiding the constraints of traditional debt
Unlike traditional lenders, Enduring Planet understands the unique challenges of scaling climate tech and designs financing that actually works for founders. With our support, Celadyne is accelerating deployment of its hydrogen technology across both defense and industry, cutting emissions and driving the energy transition where it matters most.
"If you’re building in climate or deep tech, Enduring offers a rare mix of speed, flexibility, and mission alignment."
